Refunds & Donations Policy

Last updated:01.09.2025

At RISE, we want every donor, parent, and school community to feel confident that their generosity is respected and handled with care. This policy explains how donations are processed and in what circumstances refunds may be issued. By making a donation, you agree to the terms below.

1. Donations

  • All donations made through RISE are voluntary contributions in support of schools, PTAs, or related fundraising campaigns.

  • Donations are processed securely through trusted third-party payment providers.

  • RISE does not store your payment card details.

  • All donations are final and non-refundable, except in limited circumstances set out in Section 2.

2. Refunds

Refunds may only be granted in the following situations:

  • A duplicate transaction was made in error.

  • The donation was unauthorised (for example, fraudulent use of payment details).

  • A technical issue resulted in an incorrect payment being processed.

Refund requests must be made within 14 days of the donation date. Requests made after this period may not be eligible.

3. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at [Insert email]. To help us process your request quickly, please include:

  • Your name and contact details.

  • The date and amount of your donation.

  • The reason for your refund request.

4. Distribution of Funds

  • Once donations have been transferred to a school or PTA, RISE is unable to issue refunds unless required by law.

  • Schools and PTAs are responsible for ensuring that funds are used for the purposes shared with donors.

5. Consumer Rights

This policy has been prepared in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. While charitable donations are generally not subject to the same cancellation rights as consumer purchases, RISE is committed to handling all transactions fairly, transparently, and with respect for our donors.
